Early Childhood

In the Shalom Torah Academy Preschool, we create an atmosphere of warmth, love, and security that encourages each child to blossom and grow and maximize his or her potential. Skilled and caring teachers promote a love of learning, focusing on early literacy through fun-filled child-oriented English and Hebrew language curricula.

Nurturing The Mind, Body, And Soul Of Each Child

Through research-based instruction, children learn via play, absorbing knowledge and information. Center-based learning engages and stimulates the children, with the entire curriculum building a strong foundation of language and pre-math skills. By the time your child graduates Kindergarten, he or she will be reading and will possess a comprehensive set of math skills that will set him or her on a solid path for future success.

Our Early Childhood Curriculum

Judaic Studies

The focus for Judaic studies at the preschool level are learning the Jewish holidays, the Parsha (weekly Torah portion), middos (the development of good characteristics), learning the Aleph Bet, and more.

General Studies

This curriculum focuses on developing the readiness skills of language and literacy, as well as the early mathematical concepts of shapes, numbers, counting, and the calendar. Children explore various topics throughout the year with wide-eyed curiosity and enthusiasm.
